We had a very successful afternoon at the Scottish Athletics Championships at Fettes yesterday, Sunday 26th June:

Howie (F2) in U14 broke 2 records-

He won the U14 boys 800m in 2mins 17 seconds to set a new record, knocking 7 seconds off the record that has stood for 22 years!

He won the U14 Open 1500m in 4mins 34seconds to set a new record, knocking 15 seconds off the record that has stood since 2013!

He was then awarded the individual prize for ‘best athlete’

Logan (yr 5) came 2nd in U11 boys Ball Throw with a distance of 30.29m

Hamish (yr 6) came 2nd in U12 boys 800m with a time of 2mins 49s and also came 3rd in U12 boys Long Jump with a distance of 3.32m

Matilda (yr 6) came 3rd in U12 girls Long Jump with a distance of 3.22m

Ewan (yr 6) came 3rd in U12 boys High Jump with a height of 1.05m

Jack (yr 6) ) came 2nd in U12 boys Ball Throw with a distance of 42.11m

Georgia (yr 7) ) came 3rd in U13 girls shot put with a distance of 6.3m

Nicholas (yr 7) ) came 3rd in U13 boys shot put with a distance of 6.3m

Ava (yr 7) came 2nd in U13 girls Long Jump with a distance of 3.87m
