A team of four Loretto Golf Academy junior golfers travelled to Oxfordshire for the Radley Putter. The 18-hole tournament, held on Radley College’s very own 9 hole golf course, was a modified stableford event.

We had two teams representing Loretto Golf Academy - an A boys’ team of Euan and Tomas and a girls’ B team consisting of Jolie and Rio. The event consisted of both a team competition as well as an individual event.

We travelled down on the Saturday morning to Oxford in order to play a practice round in the late afternoon. This allowed the players to come up with their own plan to play the 9-hole course to the best of their abilities.

On the Sunday the weather was a little cold and the wind picked up as the day went on but the players coped admirably. The course was in great condition and the players did Loretto proud by finishing 3rd and 5th in the team event. Tomas finished 3rd in the individual competition.
